Our place is Swastiks Masalas Pickles & Food Products Pvt Ltd. You can find us in Jayanagar at No.446. It is a busy spot. You can usually smell what we are making before you even get to the door. The spices are strong. Some days it’s chili, other days it’s turmeric or the sour smell of pickles being prepped. Jayanagar is a nice area but No.446 is a working building. We have a lot of bags and jars piled up. It is not a showroom. It is where the food actually gets made and packed. The staff has been here for years. We know how the machines sound when they are running right. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We just keep the fans going. People in the neighborhood know us by the smell. We don’t do a lot of talking about ourselves. We just focus on the jars and the packets. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure everything is sealed up. No.446 is a solid old building. It has seen a lot of seasons. We are just part of the furniture here in Jayanagar. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. That is the life at Swastiks. We keep things moving every single day.
