Out here in A74 Bommasandra Industrial Area, things look a bit different than the city center. It’s mostly big trucks and warehouses, and Suresh Flavours & Extracts Pvt Ltd is right in the mix of it. When you walk into the gate, the first thing you notice is usually the smell. It’s hard to describe because it changes depending on what we are working on that day. Sometimes it’s very sweet and other times it’s a bit sharper, but it always lets you know you’re in the right place. We have a lot of stainless steel equipment and tanks that need constant cleaning and checking. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. The guys on the floor are usually busy with the batches, and the office is just a small corner where we handle the paperwork and phone calls. The commute out to Bommasandra can be a real pain with the highway traffic, but once we get inside the gates, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor has some scuffs from moving heavy drums around, but it’s a working factory, not a showroom. We get our supplies in, process them, and send the finished stuff out to the clients. It’s a steady cycle that keeps us all occupied from morning until evening and we like it that way.
