Suraj Metals

You can find Suraj Metals down in Kumbarpet at 7/1k. It's a busy part of town and our shop fits right in with the rest of the trade businesses around here. We deal with metal goods mostly, so there is usually a lot of noise from the street and the work going on inside. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect from a metal shop that has been around for years. We have stacks of different materials piled up near the entrance and further back in the storage area. We’ve been at this 7/1k address for a good number of years now. It’s not a polished showroom, just a functional workspace where we get things done every day. People come to us when they need specific metal parts or materials for their own small projects at home. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size on the old worktable. The floor is concrete and there are tools scattered everywhere. It’s honest, hard work. Sometimes the weather makes it very hot inside the shop, but we keep the old fans going. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all kind of look out for each other when things get busy. If you're looking for us, look for the small sign near the narrow lane. It’s a bit of a maze in Kumbarpet but we are always there.
