Surabee Essar Machines & Co.

We have been operating out of 88 Sjp Road for a good while now. It is a busy street with plenty of noise and people moving about. Our shop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or machine oil. That is just how things are when you deal with machinery all day long. Surabee Essar Machines & Co. is not one of those shiny places you see in catalogs. It is a practical space where we get our hands dirty. The fans hum in the background while we look over parts and fix whatever comes through the door. Some days the delivery trucks block the whole entrance and we have to wait it out. We know most of the neighbors on the block by their first names. It is a community of makers and fixers. We mostly focus on the mechanical side of things. There is always a pile of gear components or shafts waiting for attention on the back workbench. The light in the back of the shop flickers a bit in the rainy season but we have grown used to it. We keep our tools where we can find them and we show up every morning around nine. It is just a regular job for us and we stay busy with the local demand. The Sjp Road area has changed a lot but we are still right here at the same spot doing what we know.
