We’ve been here at 23, Mes Road in Bahubali Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around Jalahalli Village know where we are, especially since we’re so close to Mother Teresa School. It’s usually busy on this road with trucks and people moving things around. We deal with steel, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and noise throughout the day. Our yard is usually full of stock. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal and construction materials. We start early in the morning and keep going until the sun sets. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the shortcuts around the village. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep the inventory and handle orders. Customers come by to check the quality of the bars and sheets. We try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when big shipments arrive at once. The neighbors are used to us by now. Being near the school means we have to be careful with the big lorries during the hours when kids are coming and going. It is a steady rhythm here. We just focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it for their building projects. Nothing too complicated about it. We just stay busy and keep the gates open for anyone stopping by.
