Sunshine School

Sunshine School is located right down Kamakshi Palya, tucked into Kalupur Commercial Bank Lane 2. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main road, which is good for the kids. We started this place because there weren't many schools nearby that were easy for parents to reach. Our building isn't very big, but we make use of every room we have. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and blackboards. We spend our days teaching the basics, like reading, writing, and math. You can hear the children playing during their break time from the street. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, but we manage. We have a few teachers who have been with us for years. We don't have a big playground, but the children find ways to have fun in the courtyard. Parents often drop by to talk about how their kids are doing or to pay the fees. We know everyone’s name here. It feels more like a small community than a big institution. Sometimes we have to paint the walls ourselves to keep things looking okay. It’s just a local school for the families living around Kamakshi Palya. We try to keep the fees as low as we can so more families can send their children. Every morning the bells ring and the day starts just like any other day. We focus on getting the children ready for their future without making things too complicated. It is a good place for learning and growing up.
