Maxim Enterprises

Maxim Enterprises is located on the first floor of No. 173 on Sadar Patrappa Road. If you know the area, you know how hectic the street level can get with all the traders and carts moving around. Being one flight up gives us a little bit of breathing room from the noise. We have been here for a good number of years now. The office is basically just a big room filled with boxes and some old metal desks. We deal with various types of hardware and industrial supplies. The stairs leading up are a bit narrow and steep, so we always tell people to watch their step. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting area. Usually, it's just me and a couple of guys handling orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. The windows are quite large, so we get a lot of afternoon sun which makes it pretty warm in here. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who need them. Most of our business comes from people who have been buying from us for years. They know the address and they know we'll be here. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living and we like the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
