G.C. Das Roy Prathamik School

G.C. Das Roy Prathamik School is situated on the 1st Floor of No.10/1, right on 1st Cross, Sampige Road. Malleswaram 560003 is a very busy place, especially around here. Being on the first floor means we are right above the shops and the street noise. You can always hear the buses and the people talking down on Sampige Road. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. The entrance is just a simple door and some stairs. We don't have a big gate or a front yard. It’s mostly just the classrooms upstairs. Since we are a prathamik school, we deal with the younger kids. It gets quite lively in the mornings. We have to be careful with the stairs when the little ones are going up and down. The teachers here have been around for a long time. We know most of the families by name because they’ve lived in Malleswaram for generations. We don't have any fancy computer labs or anything like that. We use the basic stuff—books, pencils, and blackboards. It’s a very practical way of doing things. The rooms are a bit small, but they stay mostly cool. We just focus on the basic reading and writing. It’s a humble setup, but for the people living nearby, it’s just the local school where their kids go. It's a simple life here and we like it that way.
