Maya Kids Kemp

We’ve got Maya Kids Kemp set up over at 560, right across from the Jumma Masjid Road area in Teachers Colony. It’s near where Sarjapur Ring Road hits Avenue Road, so it stays pretty active around here. Most of the time, the shop is full of children's outfits and little things for parents to look at. We opened up because we saw a lot of families moving into the colony and needing stuff for their kids. It’s a small place, nothing too big or loud. I usually spend my mornings opening the shutters and sweeping the front before the first few people wander in. It’s nice being near the mosque because everyone knows the landmark. The shelves are mostly packed with small shirts, dresses, and everyday wear for the little ones. Sometimes we run out of sizes, but we try to keep enough in stock so people don't leave empty-handed. My sister helps me manage the racks when it gets crowded on the weekends. We aren't trying to be a big mall or anything fancy. Just a local store where you can find some clothes without having to travel too far into the main city traffic. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and know many of the faces who walk by. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going.
