You can find us at 50/56 in Malleswaram West, right on the 17th Cross of Margosa Main Road. This part of Malleswaram is quite nice because of all the big trees that line the street. It gives a bit of shade even when the sun is really strong. Our office at Sundaram Home Finance Ltd is a pretty standard setup. We have rows of desks and a lot of cabinets filled with files and paperwork. People come in mostly to talk about their home loans or to drop off some documents they forgot. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the ceiling fans and the occasional printer running. We spend a lot of our day sitting at the desks and going through various forms. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important to get the details right so we don’t have problems later. Sometimes a customer brings in some sweets if their loan got approved, which is always a nice break for the staff. We usually go out for a quick walk during lunch to get some fresh air on Margosa Road. There are a lot of small eateries nearby, so we have plenty of choices. Most of the people working here have been at this branch for a few years now, so we know the regular faces who pass by our window every day. It’s a steady, calm environment.
