Tandem Allied Services

Tandem Allied Services is located at 135 Brigade Road, inside Jaffer Mansion. We have the pent house space in Brigade Towers, though that name makes it sound much fancier than it actually is. It’s really just the top floor of an older building. Brigade Road is famous for being crowded, and it really is. Just getting to the entrance of Jaffer Mansion can be a struggle on the weekends when the shoppers are out. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street. We handle various allied services, which basically means we do a bit of everything for our clients throughout the day. The office has a lot of windows, so it gets very bright and warm in the afternoons. We have some old filing cabinets that have been here since the business first started. There isn't a lot of room to walk around because we’ve filled the space with desks and boxes of storage. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a list of tasks that need to get done by the end of the shift. The elevator in Brigade Towers is one of those old ones that makes you a little nervous, but it always gets you to the top eventually. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing up reports. It's a very steady, unpretentious place to work. You can hear the muffled sounds of the traffic from down below, which reminds you how busy the city is. We like being in the middle of it.
