Sundaram Exports

Sundaram Exports is tucked away at 314 on the 7th Cross, over in the V.R. Puram area of P.G. Halli. It is a residential kind of neighborhood mostly, so it is a bit quieter than the main roads downtown. We have been working out of this 4th Main Road spot for a good while. Our setup is pretty basic, with some long tables for packing and a bit of space for storing the goods we send out to our clients. We handle exports, so there is always a lot of bubble wrap and brown tape lying around on the floor. It can get a bit chaotic when a big shipment is due to leave, and we all end up helping out with the boxes regardless of our job titles. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a ground-floor space that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. The neighbors are used to seeing the small tempo trucks coming in and out to pick up our crates in the morning. We usually take a break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak and the street goes quiet. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we have a bit of a local feel to the place. We don't go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just make sure the items are packed properly and the labels are stuck on straight before they go. It’s practical work that requires some patience.
