You can find Sujan Arts at Malleshwaram 306, which is an older part of the neighborhood with a lot of character. We have been working out of this space for years, and it is pretty much filled to the ceiling with frames, canvases, and various art supplies. There is sawdust in the corners from where we cut the wood for the frames, and the smell of paint and glue is pretty strong when you first walk in. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a counter where we talk to people about what they need done. Most of our customers are from right here in Malleshwaram, and we know many of them by name. The windows are a bit dusty because we are usually too busy with the work to clean them properly. We have a workbench in the back that is covered in nicks and stains from years of use. It is a bit cramped inside, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you are moving around. We don't use a computer for much, mostly just writing things down in a big ledger we keep by the till. The stairs leading up to the shop are a bit steep and they creak every time someone steps on them. It is a quiet kind of work, and we just take it one project at a time.
