Sumith Sales

Sumith Sales has been operating out of Thimmaiah Road in the Bharathi Nagar area of Shivaji Nagar for a while. Our address is 137, and it’s a typical Shivaji Nagar spot—close to the market and always full of life. We do a lot of general sales, mostly things that local residents or small businesses need on a daily basis. The shop is nothing special to look at, just a regular storefront with shelves lining the walls. We spend a lot of our time talking to customers who come in for one thing and end up staying for a chat. The traffic on Thimmaiah Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but it brings a lot of people past our door. We’ve got a few old fans that keep the place somewhat cool during the heat. The flooring is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a local business trying to make things work. We keep our own records and try to stay on top of what people are asking for. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expected, so we have to make quick trips to the wholesalers. It is a simple life here. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer. Shivaji Nagar is a tough place but it has a lot of character.
