If you’re looking for Sulochana Steel, we are right across from the Peenya Police Station. Being in the Sri Muneshwara Industrial Estate means there is always noise and movement around us. Tumkur Road is always busy, so we hear the trucks passing by all day long. We deal in steel, mostly basic supplies for construction or whatever else people are building. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if it’s just a warehouse at No.3/1. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. If someone needs steel, they usually just drop by or give us a call on the landline. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the lengths are right before anything leaves the yard. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Peenya, but we stay busy under the sheds. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, but we get it sorted eventually. We’ve been part of this industrial area for a long time. People around here know us as the place near the station. We don’t make big promises, we just show people what we have in stock and let them decide. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the routine of it, from opening up early in the morning to locking the gates at night and going home. It is just basic labor that needs to be done.
