Suhas Provision Stores

You can find us at Suhas Provision Stores, number 99 on the BDA Main Road in Murugeshpalya, right by NR Colony. We’ve been running this provision store for a lot of years. It’s a small place, packed with everything from rice and dal to soap and snacks. Every morning we get the fresh milk in and start setting things out. It’s a lot of lifting and moving bags around. The shelves are a bit crowded because we try to keep a bit of everything for the families living around here. We know most of our customers by name and we know what they usually need before they even ask. Sometimes the kids come in after school for a treat and the place gets a bit loud. We don't have a computer system for billing; we just write it down or use the old calculator. It works fine for us. We aren't looking to become a big supermarket chain. We just like serving the local people and hearing the daily news from the street. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much sometimes, but we’re used to the noise. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one. We just try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go far for their groceries. That’s what we do every day, and we’re happy with that.
