Subramanyam

Subramanyam is located at number 18 in Malleswaram West. We are directly opposite to the Navarthana Apartment, so that is the easiest way for anyone to find us. Malleswaram is an older part of the city, and it has a certain way about it that you do not find in the newer areas. The streets are lined with big trees, though the traffic has certainly picked up lately. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The office itself is nothing special to look at, just a room with some old wooden furniture and a lot of papers stacked up on the shelves. We like it this way because it is comfortable and we do not have to worry about scratching the floors or making a mess. My uncle used to run things here before I took over, and not much has changed since then. We still use the same old cupboards and the same heavy door keys. Every morning, the lady from the apartment across the street comes out to water her plants, and that is usually when we open up the shutters. It is a peaceful routine. We do not have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. Most people who come to see us are people we have known for decades. It is a small, family-style operation and we prefer keeping it that way instead of trying to grow too fast.
