Subhvivah Marriage Bureau

Our office is located at Palace Guttahalli Road 63, which is a busy part of town. Subhvivah Marriage Bureau is just a small place where people come to talk about their families and find matches. It’s a very personal kind of work, and we spend a lot of time listening to stories. The room has a few chairs and a big fan that rattles a bit when it's on high. We have stacks of files with photographs and details that we look through every single day. People usually walk in with their parents, and things can get quite emotional or serious pretty quickly. We keep a pot of tea ready most of the time because these conversations can last a while. The road outside is always noisy with buses and autos, but once you step inside, it's a bit more peaceful. We have been doing this for many years now, and we’ve seen so many people come through these doors. It’s not a high-tech operation; it’s more about knowing people and remembering what they are looking for. We write everything down in ledgers because we don't trust the computer for everything. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window, but we just put a bucket there and keep going. It’s a simple life, helping neighbors and locals find the right path for their kids. We hope to keep doing this for a long time yet.
