Studio Ebony

We are a small outfit located in the Ramagondana Halli Lakeview area. It’s mostly just a couple of us working here on interior stuff. We didn’t start with a big plan or anything. I just liked working with wood and my partner was good at drawing out floor plans. So we opened this studio. The view of the lake is nice, though there’s a lot of construction around it these days. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their kitchens or how they want their living rooms to look. It’s not a fancy office. We have samples of plywood and laminate all over the place. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a workshop. We do the designs and then find the right people to build them. It’s a lot of back and forth with the carpenters. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, like a color looking different once it’s on the wall. We just fix it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or their friend told them about us. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now. The traffic near the lake can be a real pain in the evenings, but we like the neighborhood. We just try to do work that looks decent and stays within what people can afford. It’s a simple business, really. We're just here doing our thing.
