St.Johns Research Institute Bangalore

This is where we are, right over at the St. Marys Ladies Hostel area in Maruthinagar. We’re tucked away on 6th Cross in Madiwala. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, always something happening outside the windows. We deal with research work here, mostly stuff for St. John’s. The office isn't anything special to look at, just rooms filled with papers, books, and computers. We spend a lot of time looking at data and writing things up. It can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Since we’re near the hostel, there are always people walking around and plenty of small shops nearby for snacks. Madiwala is famous for its traffic, so most of us walk or take the bus. It’s a very local feel here. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we’re just a group of people doing our jobs in a neighborhood we know well. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it goes sometimes in this part of town. We keep things simple and try to stay organized with all the research projects. It's practical work. We don't have a big sign out front or anything, so you have to look for the right gate. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is pretty set now. It's just a regular workplace in a busy city.
