Stillito Footwear Store Bengaluru

We have been here at No. 3 Jewellers Street for a long while now. Bengaluru is a busy city, and this street is always packed with people looking at gold and things. We mostly handle shoes. It’s a small shop but we keep a good amount of stock in the back room. People come in usually because they need something for their daily job or maybe a wedding. We don't have any fancy bright lights or big displays. Just rows of footwear on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we can barely hear what the customers are saying. It is just part of being in this area. I started working here because I like seeing how a new pair of shoes can change how someone walks. It is not a big corporation. Just us and a couple of stools for people to sit on while they try things on. We open up pretty early and stay until late most days. The floor is a bit worn out but it’s sturdy. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. They stop by just to say hello or ask about the weather. Buying shoes is one of those things you have to do in person. You have to feel the fit. If it's too tight, it is no good. We try to stay organized but on Saturdays it gets messy with boxes everywhere. That’s just life in a shop.
