Prestige Shoes

We’ve been here at 1st Main 1st Cross for quite some time now. People know us as the place near the railway gate on Nagawara Road. It’s a busy spot, especially when the trains go by. Most of our days are spent tucked away in the 2nd Goggappa Layout. We work with leather and soles and all kinds of materials to get the shoes right. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small for all the inventory we keep, but we manage. My father started this and now I’m here most mornings before the sun gets too hot. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of boxes and the smell of glue and polish. The neighborhood has changed a lot, with new buildings popping up, but the railway gate is still the same old landmark. People stop by on their way home. Some just want a quick repair, others are looking for something sturdy for work. We talk to the regulars about the traffic and the weather while we show them what’s in stock. It isn’t always easy keeping everything organized in this space. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack things up high. It’s a simple life here in Nagawara. We just focus on the shoes and making sure they hold up on these dusty roads. If you’re walking past the layout, you’ll probably see our sign hanging a bit crooked. It’s been there for years and we just never got around to fixing the bracket.
