Salvatore Ferragamo

I work here at Salvatore Ferragamo, which is on the ground floor of The Collection at UB City. The address is 41621 Vittal Mallya Road. Working in a place like UB City is quite different from other parts of town. It’s very clean and there are always security guards walking around. We spend a lot of time making sure the shoes and bags are perfectly lined up on the shelves. The floors are shiny, so we have to mop them quite often. It’s a bit fancy, but at the end of the day, we are just staff members helping people out. We see all kinds of people coming through the mall. Some are just looking, and others know exactly what they want. The air conditioning is always on, which is nice when it’s hot outside. Vittal Mallya Road gets very busy with expensive cars in the evenings. We don't have a lot of say in how things are run; we just follow the rules and keep the shop looking good. It’s a long day standing on our feet, but we talk to each other to pass the time. We aren't the owners, just the ones you see when you walk in. The leather smells strong in here, especially when new shipments arrive. It’s a nice enough place to spend the day. We just try to be helpful without being too pushy to the people visiting.
