Steel Arts

Steel Arts is tucked away on 10th Cross in Hongasandra. It’s a busy spot right on Begur Road, especially near that APR Kalyana Mantapa where weddings are always happening. Most days here start early with the sound of metal moving around and the smell of cutting oil. We have been in this small corner for a while now. The shop isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we handle different steel tasks. It gets pretty dusty inside, especially when the afternoon sun hits the floor. People from the neighborhood drop by mostly for small jobs or just to ask questions about some metalwork they need for their homes. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. Just some old desks, a few heavy machines, and a lot of raw material stacked up against the walls. Traffic on Begur Road can be a real headache around five o'clock, but we just keep working until the shutters go down. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit outside for a bit, watching the bikes go by. It’s just how things go here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just cutting and shaping steel as it comes. It's honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you’re walking past the Kalyana Mantapa, you’ll probably hear us before you see the sign. It’s a loud place, but that’s just the nature of the business we are in.
