State Cottage Emporium

Finding us can be a bit tricky if you aren't looking closely. We are tucked away behind Nallis Silk at No.21/13 in Crag Park Layout. M G Road is always noisy, but once you step into our space, it’s a bit quieter, though we have stuff piled everywhere. We sell things that people make by hand. It’s not a big corporate store with bright lights and uniform-wearing staff. It is just a few of us here trying to keep things organized. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and showing people the different carvings or fabrics we have in stock. The floor creaks a bit and we sometimes lose track of where we put the smaller items. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but that is how we like it. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. People come in looking for something specific, and usually, we have to dig through a few shelves to find it. We don't have a website that works properly, so most people just walk in. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall nearby. If we're not helping someone, we're probably just dusting off the shelves or chatting about the traffic on the main road. It’s a simple shop, nothing too special, just us doing our thing every day. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that.
