At Star Links Telecom, we’ve made our home at 62/15 on CMR Road in the HRBR 2nd Block. Kalyan Nagar is a nice part of town, and we’ve seen it get much busier since we first opened our doors. We’re mostly a telecom shop, so our days are filled with SIM cards, recharges, and fixing various phone issues. The shop isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four customers come in at once. We’ve got shelves lining the walls with all kinds of accessories, some of which have been there a little too long, to be honest. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have one other guy helping us with the technical repairs. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just rely on people in the neighborhood knowing where we are. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we enjoy the chats we have with the regulars. Sometimes someone will bring in a phone that looks like it’s been through a blender, and we have to tell them it’s a lost cause. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s just a waste of money. The traffic on CMR Road is pretty constant, so there’s always a backdrop of horns and engines while we work. It’s just our little corner of the world where we try to keep everyone connected without any unnecessary trouble.
