Star Home

Star Home is on the first floor of a building on Coles Road, specifically number 58, in Frazer Town. Frazer Town is one of those places that has its own personality, especially with all the food spots nearby. Our office is pretty modest. Being on the first floor means we hear a lot of the street noise, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. It’s just the sound of the city. We work on housing and property stuff. It’s not the kind of job that makes for a lot of exciting stories, but it keeps us busy. We have a few chairs for visitors, but most of our work happens over the phone or out at different sites. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We don’t go in for all the corporate buzzwords you hear these days. We just provide a place where people can come to talk about their home needs. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and sometimes we close early if the weather is really bad. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing the printer when it jams. We like being in Frazer Town. It feels like we are part of the local community, which is all we really wanted. It's nothing fancy, just our office.
