Standard Bank

So, this is Standard Bank. It is a bit of a small operation compared to the big names you see on every corner. We don't have a fancy street address listed here right now, but you can usually reach us through those email addresses like the ones for Prabhu Patil on Yahoo or Sifymail. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to use those types of mail accounts, but they work just fine for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time checking the inbox and replying to whatever comes through. Being a bank, people expect things to be very formal, but we are just regular folks trying to keep the books balanced. We don't have a big lobby with shiny floors or guards at the door. It’s more about the digital side of things for us at the moment. Managing accounts and looking at numbers fills up most of our hours. Sometimes the emails get a bit cluttered, especially when there is a lot of back and forth about a specific transaction. We try to stay on top of it. It’s a quiet way to run a business, just sitting at the computer and making sure the decimals are in the right place.
