Stage Work

Stage Work is located at 39 Mahajan Street in the Nayandahalli area. If you are looking for our place, we are right near the big old banyan tree and the Anjenaya Temple. Those are the best landmarks to use because the street itself is tucked away a bit. We deal with a lot of heavy equipment for setting up stages and different local events. The space is often filled with metal poles, heavy curtains, and wooden planks leaning against the walls. It can get pretty messy when we are in the middle of preparing for a big job or cleaning up after one. We have been in Nayandahalli for a long time and we know the area well. The neighborhood is quite old and has a very specific, busy feel to it. Working near the temple means we see a lot of local festivals and people gathering for prayers. Sometimes we leave our big front doors open to let some fresh air in, and you can hear all the sounds of the street and the temple bells. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and making sure every bolt is tightened down right. We don't have a polished showroom for people to walk through. Most of our gear is stored in the back or is currently out at a site being used for a show. It is hard work but we have been doing it for years and we like the variety of the jobs we get.
