St Marys Royal Furniture

You can find us over in Ramamurthy Nagar, right next to the Manipal Hospital. It’s a busy spot, and the hospital makes it easy for people to find our shop. We sell all kinds of home furniture like wooden cots, wardrobes, dining tables, and sofas. The shop is quite full, so there isn't much room to walk around once you get inside. We have things stacked up quite high. It’s a family business, and we’ve been here for many years. My brothers and I handle everything from talking to customers to loading the furniture onto the truck. We don't have a big fancy delivery system; we just use our own vehicle to get things to people's houses. Sometimes the furniture is very heavy and we have to carry it up narrow stairs, which is always a challenge. We get our wood from local suppliers and we try to make sure everything is built to last. We aren't like those big air-conditioned showrooms in the malls. Our place is a bit dusty and we don't have fancy lights, but we show you the furniture for what it is. People from all over the neighborhood come to us because they know we’ve been here a long time. We just want to do a good job and make sure the customers are happy with what they buy. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we like being part of the community here.
