St Joseph Furniture Works

We are located at 92 Ulsoor, a part of the city that still has a bit of its old character left. Our workshop is where we spend almost all of our time, surrounded by piles of wood and the smell of sawdust. It’s a local business through and through, and we don't try to be anything else. We don't have a big polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, you’ll find us in the back, working on chairs or fixing up a table that has seen better days. People in Ulsoor have been coming to us for years because they know where we are and they know we just do the work. The floor is usually covered in wood shavings, and there’s always a project half-finished in the corner. We aren't the type to use big words or make grand promises. We just take the wood and make it into what it needs to be. Sometimes the work is slow and steady, and other times we are rushing to finish a piece for a family that’s moving house. It’s a small shop, and it can get a bit cluttered, but we know where every tool is. We enjoy the rhythm of the work, the sawing and the sanding, and the feeling of finishing something with our own hands. That is what 92 Ulsoor is all about for us as we go about our days.
