This shop is down on Old Mangammanapalya Road in the MG Palya area. We are near the Shell Petrol Bunk, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The address is No. 36 in Muniswamappa Layout. We’ve been here in Bommanahalli for a good while. It’s a fabrication shop, so expect plenty of noise and metal dust. We do a lot of iron work, mostly gates and window bars for the houses around Hosur Road. The petrol bunk is just a short walk away if we need to fill up the generator. It gets pretty loud when the grinders are going. We don't really have a regular schedule, we just stay until the work is finished. The shop is a bit cramped with all the iron rods and sheets we keep in stock. Sometimes we have to work out on the street if the pieces are too big. People driving by stop and ask about prices sometimes. We just give them a straight answer. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on. I’ve got a couple of helpers who know the trade well. We don't do any big advertising. If you need something made of metal, you just come find us near the Shell bunk. We just keep our heads down and do the welding. It's heavy work and our boots wear out fast. We usually have some tea around four and then get back to it.
