Ss Fabrications

We are located at No. 36 in Muniswamappa Layout. It’s on the Old Mangammanapalya Road in M.G. Palya. This part of Bommanahalli is always busy. We do a lot of welding and metal fabrication work. Most days are spent with a helmet on, looking at sparks. It’s a dirty job and the shop smells like burnt metal. We have all sorts of scraps lying around the yard. People bring in designs for gates or grills and we just try to match what they want. It’s not a fancy setup. We have our welding machines and a couple of grinders. The road outside is usually bumpy and dusty. Sometimes we work late if a customer is in a hurry. I’ve been in this layout for a few years now. The neighbors know us by the sound of the hammers. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner covered in papers. It’s mostly just hard work and sweat. We try to be fair with what we charge. The boys who work here are good workers. We just get on with it. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. We just weld things together and hope the rain stays away while we are working outside. It's a simple business. We deal with iron and steel mostly. If you walk down from the main road you can't miss the sound of the metal clanging together.
