We’ve been set up here at 228/233 on 2nd Main for a good while now. Peenya 3rd Phase is a busy place, and our corner on 2nd Cross is no different. Most days start early with the shutter going up and the lights flickering on in the back. It’s a production environment, so there is always some noise or the smell of oil in the air. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with coffee machines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand by the desk near the door while we look up their order or check the stock in the back room. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know where every tool and box is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just keep the work going inside. It’s mostly about getting the tasks done and making sure the crates are ready for the morning pickup. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just moving things from one side of the floor to the other. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in this part of Bangalore. If you walk past the units on 2nd Cross, you’ll probably hear us working before you see the sign. It’s just a regular local shop doing its daily thing.
