Srinivasa Tamarind

Our place is Srinivasa Tamarind, and you can find us at Door No-35/2 on Anantpura Road. We are pretty close to Yalahanka, so a lot of trucks stop by on their way into the city. We deal specifically with tamarind, so the whole area has that sharp, tangy smell that stays in your nose all day. It is a lot of work sorting through the bags and making sure everything is packed right. The sun gets really hot out here on the road, so we do most of our heavy moving in the early morning hours before it gets too intense. Our building is simple, with high ceilings and a concrete floor that stays relatively cool. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy sign or a big office, just the warehouse and a small desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the road gets very dusty when the wind picks up, so we have to keep the bags covered. We don't use the internet for much other than basic stuff. Most of our business is just people calling us up or driving over to see what we have in stock. It is a very direct way of doing things. We just focus on the tamarind and try to get the work done before the evening rain starts.
