Srinivasa Steel Traders

Srinivasa Steel Traders is located at No-87 on South End Road in Basavanagudi. We are pretty close to the old Shanthi Theatre, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The street is always busy with scooters and cars, so it’s a bit of a scramble when a delivery truck needs to pull up. Our shop is filled with steel bars and various metal supplies. It’s heavy stuff, so we spend a lot of our time hauling things from the back to the front. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just a counter and then rows of steel stacked up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there’s always something else to do. We deal with all kinds of people, from contractors to homeowners who just need a few rods for a gate. It gets pretty loud when we have to cut the steel to size. We’ve been around this part of Basavanagudi for a long time. It’s an old neighborhood and we like being part of it. We don’t have any big corporate goals or fancy speeches to give. We just sell steel and try to make sure we don't mix up the orders. If you need some metal and you’re near the theatre, you can just walk in.
