Srinivasa Steel Industries

Srinivasa Steel Industries is located at 143/6 Srirampuram in Chandlodia. Dealing with steel is heavy and loud work, so our place isn't exactly a quiet library. You can usually hear the sound of metal clanging against metal from the street. The floor is concrete and has plenty of scratches and marks from moving heavy beams and sheets around. It’s a big open space with a small partitioned area that serves as the office. We keep the registers and the order books there. Chandlodia is a busy area, and there is always dust in the air from the nearby roads and other businesses. We have a small crew of guys who are used to the heavy lifting. They wear thick gloves and boots because steel isn't very forgiving if you drop it. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, just some big industrial fans that move the air around. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep drinking water and keep moving. Our customers are usually local builders or people who need parts for their own projects. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. We just have our name on the wall and we do our work. It’s a bit messy and unorganized at times, with scraps of metal in the corners, but that’s just how a steel yard looks when it’s actually being used every day. We finish when the last truck is loaded.
