Srinivas Furniture & Wood Works

Srinivas Furniture & Wood Works is located in Yelahanka, specifically at the 8th Cross in Shivananda Nagar. We are right near the Gnana Ganga School, so we hear the kids playing during their breaks every day. Our workshop is full of wood planks, sawdust, and the smell of polish. We have been working with wood for a long time. It is a job that requires a lot of sweat and patience. We make all sorts of things like cupboards, bed frames, and dining tables. We don't have a big factory; it is just us and our manual tools. Sometimes we use a power saw, but a lot of the finishing is done by hand. People come to us with a rough idea of what they want, and we try to make it work. Often, they bring a photo they saw in a magazine or online. We tell them what is possible with the wood we have. Teak and rosewood are hard to find at good prices these days, so we work with whatever the customer can afford. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with wood shavings everywhere, but that is how a real workshop should be. We take pride in making things that last for a long time. We aren't fast, but we try to be thorough with every joint and nail.
