Our place is located at 236 New Thippasandra. It’s a busy spot where people are always coming in for something. We do a mix of things here, mostly helping folks with their mobile phones and booking travel tickets. If you need a recharge or a new SIM card, we get that sorted out. Then there’s the travel side where we book buses and trains for people going out of town. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. The shop is small and has some chairs for people to sit while they wait for their tickets to print or their phone issues to get fixed. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the needs of the people stay mostly the same. Everyone is in a hurry these days. We try to keep up with the technical side of things, like when the networks change or the booking systems get updated. It’s not always easy keeping track of all the different bus routes and timings, but we do our best. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to ask customers to wait a bit longer, which is frustrating for everyone. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us managing the counter and the computers. On the walls we have some old travel posters and a calendar. It’s a local shop for local needs, and that’s about it for our daily routine.
