Sri Vinayaka Fabricator

The shop is right on 13th Main in Mahalakshmipuram. It gets pretty loud here once the sun comes up. We start the day by moving the heavy iron pieces around. It is a bit of a squeeze at No. 40 because we have so much raw material piled up. J.C Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone walking by or asking about a small welding job. We aren't a big factory, just a local spot where we get our hands dirty every day. The air usually smells like burnt metal and sparks. Kurubarahalli has a lot of these small workshops, and we are just another one of them. The floor is covered in scrap metal and bits of old iron. We don't have a fancy waiting room or any air conditioning. Most of the time, we are just wearing our old work clothes and trying to get the gates and grills finished before the monsoon hits. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the stools for a bit while we wait for it to come back. It is just how things go. We use the old machines that have been with us for years. They still work fine if you know how to handle them. The neighbors are used to the noise by now. We finish up late most evenings and lock the shutters. It is just basic work, nothing special to look at.
