Sri Vinayaka Cell Care

Sri Vinayaka Cell Care is over here in Dasanapura Hobli. It’s a small place, mostly just a counter and some shelves full of broken screens and plastic parts. We spend all day looking through tiny magnifying glasses. People drop their phones in the mud or on the concrete around here and then they bring them to us. Most of the time it’s just a cracked screen or a battery that won’t hold a charge anymore. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a lobby. You just walk in and tell us what’s wrong. The traffic outside in Dasanapura Hobli is always loud, so we usually have some music playing to drown it out. We keep a lot of old parts in boxes under the desk because you never know when some old model might come in needing a fix. It’s a lot of fiddling with small screws. Sometimes my eyes hurt by the end of the day. We try to get things done by the evening so people can have their phones back for work. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us working on benches. We know the regulars who always seem to be breaking their stuff. We just sit here, drink our tea, and get the solder iron hot. It's basic work but it keeps the neighborhood connected. We don't promise miracles, just that we will try to fix the thing if we can find the parts.
