Sri Vigneshwara Engraves

We have been running this small engraving shop in Peenya for a good number of years now. Our place is right beside Amura School, so we hear the kids playing during their breaks every single day. It’s a noisy industrial area, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of machines and traffic outside. Mostly, we work with metal plates and nameplates. People come in with all sorts of requests, some want simple numbers for their machines and others want signs for their front doors. We have a few old machines that still work perfectly fine if you know how to handle them. The air in here usually smells like metal shavings and oil. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a workshop with benches and tools scattered around. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. We aren't trying to grow into some huge company. We just like doing the work and seeing the finished engraving on a clean piece of brass or steel. It takes a steady hand and some patience, especially when the text is very small. Sometimes a customer brings a drawing that’s hard to read, and we have to sit together to figure it out before we start the machine. It’s just regular daily work for us, and we keep at it from morning until the evening.
