Sri Venkateswara Fabricators

Our shop, Sri Venkateswara Fabricators, is at 7 Hosur Layout on the 1st Cross in Gunduthopu. It is a place where you will always hear the sound of welding and metal being cut. We have been working from this spot for a long time and the locals know us by the noise and the sparks. The 1st Cross is a quiet street until we start our work in the morning. We have all our tools and welding machines spread out because that is the only way we can work effectively on the bigger pieces. It is not the cleanest place because of all the metal scraps and filings on the floor, but we sweep up every evening before we head out. Gunduthopu is a practical location for us and it is easy for people to drop off their metalwork. We do not have a big office; we mostly just stand around the worktables all day. Sometimes the heat from the welding torch gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months. We take breaks when we need to and talk to the other shop owners nearby about the weather or the news. It is a simple life of making things out of iron and steel for whoever needs them. We do not use any fancy technology, just our hands and the machines we have had for years. People come to us when they need something sturdy made. We just do our best and keep the shop running.
