Sri Venkateshwara Tent House

You can find us over at Vishveshwaraiah Puram, right near Sajjan Circle on Subramanyaswamy Temple Road. Sri Venkateshwara Tent House has been around here for quite some time now. We spend most of our days loading and unloading heavy poles, folded chairs, and bundles of cloth. The shop is at number 596, and it’s usually packed with gear from floor to ceiling. When there’s a festival at the temple or a wedding nearby, we’re out there early in the morning setting things up. It’s physical work, and our hands are usually a bit rough from handling the ropes and metal frames. We don't have a big website or a sales team. Usually, people just walk in or call us because they saw our name on a truck or a neighbor told them about us. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty or a chair needs a bit of a scrub before it goes out again. We try to keep everything in order, but in this business, things are always moving in and out. It gets really hectic during the marriage season. We might be working late into the night under a street lamp. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It's just a regular local business, nothing more, nothing less. We just make sure people have a place to sit and some shade when they gather together.
