Sri Venkateshwara Condiments & Beeda Stall

You’ll find our stall at Agrahara Dasarahalli Bapuji Nagar 32. It’s a small corner spot, and we’ve been here for years. We sell a variety of condiments and make beeda for the people who walk by. It’s a tight space, so everything has to be kept in its specific place or we can't move around. We have jars of snacks and different ingredients lined up on the shelves. Most of the day is spent serving customers who are in a hurry. They stop for a quick bite or something to chew on after their meal. We see the same faces every morning and evening. The street outside is always crowded with bikes and people, so it gets quite dusty. We’re constantly wiping down the counter and the glass jars. It’s just one or two of us working here at a time. We don't have fancy equipment, just our hands and the containers we've always used. The sun hits the front of the stall in the afternoon, so it gets pretty warm under the awning. We don't have a lot of storage, so we have to get fresh supplies delivered quite often. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the noise and life of Bapuji Nagar. We open up early and stay until the street gets quiet at night. It’s what we know, and we just keep doing it day after day without much fuss. It works for us and the people who live around here.
