There’s always people carrying bags of vegetables and stuff across the street. Our shop has been here for a good while, and we mostly handle different types of oils. It can get a bit greasy on the floors if we aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time mopping and wiping things down. It’s a narrow shop, typical for this part of Cubbonpet, with containers stacked up towards the ceiling. We don't have a big staff, just enough to help the people who come in wanting to fill their jars or buy a bottle. The smell of oil is something you get used to after five minutes of being inside. We don't do any big advertising or have a website. People just know we are here because they see the sign when they go to the market. It gets very crowded on market days, and sometimes it’s hard to even get through the front door. We just try to keep things organized so people can get what they need and go back to their shopping. It’s a lot of heavy lifting moving those big drums around, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the noise and life of Main Road and serving the local community.
