Sri Vengopala Swamy Rice Traders

Our rice shop is located in Manjunath Nagar, right over in the 3rd Stage area. We are near the Muniganga Kalyana Mantap, specifically at No 669 on 8th B Main Road in the 2nd Block. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. We spend most of our days moving heavy sacks of rice around the store and helping people pick out what they need for their daily meals. We have different kinds of rice stacked up, from the regular stuff for everyday cooking to the nicer grains people use for special occasions. It gets dusty in here with all the bags, but that is just part of the job. Many of the families around here have been buying from us for years. We do not do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here by the kalyana mantap. Sometimes we get big orders for functions, and other times it is just someone coming in for a five-kilo bag. The mornings are usually the busiest when the deliveries arrive and we have to stack everything properly. We try to keep the shop organized, but with so many bags coming in and going out, it can look a bit messy sometimes. It is just a regular local business run by people who know the difference between good rice and the rest. You are welcome to drop by anytime during the day to see the stock we have. We do not have a fancy delivery system, just a small vehicle to help move things locally if someone buys a lot at once. We are just happy to serve the families in Manjunath Nagar.
