Sri Velmurgan Metal Industries is located at New Guddadahalli Midc 179. Being in an MIDC area means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. We deal with metal industries work, which basically means a lot of heavy lifting and fabrication. New Guddadahalli is a busy place and our spot at 179 is always full of activity. We have different kinds of machines for cutting and shaping metal. The floor is made of concrete and it has seen a lot of use over the years. It is not a place for people who mind getting their hands dirty because there is plenty of oil and metal shavings everywhere. We just come in, do the work, and go home. We don't really use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just metal work. Sometimes the weather makes the shop really hot, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time checking the measurements and making sure the machines are running right. Most of the people who work here live nearby in New Guddadahalli. It is a straightforward life centered around the workshop at Midc 179. We don't have a lot of frills, just the tools we need and the materials we work on. It’s a solid way to spend the day and we just keep at it until we are finished.
