Sri Umashanker Roadlines

We are based at 13 New Tharagpet, right inside the Ashirwad Building. If you know this part of town, you know it’s one of the busiest hubs for moving goods. The streets are narrow and always full of handcarts, trucks, and people loading sacks of stuff. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from the chaos outside, though you can still hear the shouting and the engines through the windows. We deal with road transport, which means a lot of coordinating with drivers and making sure the logs are updated. There are stacks of waybills and registers on every surface. It gets pretty hectic during the middle of the day when everyone is trying to get their loads out before the evening. We don’t have much in the way of decor; it’s mostly just calendars on the walls and a few old fans to keep the air moving. The Ashirwad Building has been here for a while, and it’s got that old-fashioned commercial feel to it. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the long hours. Sometimes the trucks are late because of traffic on the highway, and we have to spend time figuring out where they are. It’s a lot of logistical juggling and talking to different people all day. We just try to keep the goods moving from one point to another without too much trouble.
