Sri Umashankar Transport Company

Sri Umashankar Transport Company has been operating out of 73 Tharagupet for some time. We are on the 3rd Main Road, which is quite close to Bannappa Park. Most people know the area because it's always crowded with trucks and goods moving around. It's not a quiet place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We handle moving items from one place to another. It sounds simple but there is a lot of waiting for loads and checking on drivers. Sometimes things go slow when the traffic near the park is heavy. We started out small and we’re still pretty much a local setup. We don't have a big corporate website or anything fancy. Just a desk, some phones, and a lot of paperwork to track. You'll find us there most days, usually busy with the local logistics stuff. The office is plain, just some chairs and a fan. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand. If someone needs something transported, they usually just walk in or give us a call. It’s a messy business sometimes with all the dust from the road, but we stay busy. We’ve been through rainy seasons where the street floods a bit, but we keep the trucks moving as much as we can. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in Tharagupet, but we just keep at it.
